Guardians of our clients’ legal security, we are the contacts to consult for legally translating all your wishes. True “general practitioners” of law, our ministerial public officers certify deeds and provide advice to businesses and individuals with utmost discretion.

The study of Sorgues

SINCE ALWAYS AND FOR A LONG TIME

The Archives of the Departmental Chamber of Notaries of Vaucluse confirm, the notarial study of Sorgues on the Ouvèze has existed since the 15th century.

Since the Revolution of 1789, the successive holders of the Sorgues study have been clearly identified, and their acts bound in minutes are carefully preserved.
Rooted in its territory, the Sorgues study has successfully carried out its public service mission to the population, being the privileged counsel of its families, merchants, craftsmen, and industrialists.

But the Notarial Office is also and above all a united and enduring team.

The study of Coustellet

TRADITION AND INNOVATION

The latest legislative evolution has transformed the notarial landscape, forcing notaries to face new challenges.
Thus, VALLIS CLAUSA NOTAIRES has decided to establish a new office in Coustellet, leveraging the skills and staff of the Sorgues notarial office but also with the ambition to bring this structure to the forefront of progress with the aim of providing personalized and high-performance local services.

The study has always been at the forefront of progress, be it social, structural, or technological.

Socially, because the study has always taken care of its staff as well as its clients, benefiting the team from the latest social advancements (profit-sharing plans) and its clientele from effective research and management tools (ISO standards).
Structurally, since the opportunity arose to operate with multiple partners in the 1970s, it has become a professional civil society, and since 2019, a limited liability practice company, now grouped under the name VALLIS CLAUSA NOTAIRES, with five associate notaries:

  • Pierre GAUTIER,
  • Emmanuel COMTE,
  • Pierre DOUX,
  • Jean-Gaetan AUBERT,
  • Quentin GAUTIER,
  • and about fifteen collaborators across two sites, the historic site of Sorgues and the newly established site at Coustellet, thus allowing the associate notaries to specialize to provide better service to clients, and to be more available.

Finally, the study has always been at the cutting edge of technological advancements, from the typewriter, word processing, to today’s communication via e-message and electronic authentic act, remote signing, and video conferencing. These means are implemented with one aim: to fulfill our public service mission with humanism and serenity, integrity, and honor.
